I cannot believe it’s been three months since I last posted. It’s been a long, crazy fall, that’s for sure!
A lot has happened since mid-July. My 91-year old father’s health took a bad turn, and he’s now in a nursing home. Mallory, our daughters and I had a nice relaxing vacation in upstate New York. School started for everyone in the family but me, and that’s made it tough for Mallory to get the training miles she needs for her her first marathon in NYC on Nov. 7th. I’ve been busy, but also very low-energy for some reason. Lastly, we’ve had the most amazing six weeks of Indian Summer-type weather, with the fall colors lingering for longer than I’ve ever seen before. Here’s an example for you:
Anyway, here I am, back in the saddle.
